Nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, The Crown Hotel sits right on the banks of the River Ribble, beneath the iconic Pen-y-ghent. We’re proud to be one of only a handful of hotels actually on The Pennine Way, a favourite stop for walkers, cyclists, and explorers tackling the famous Yorkshire Three Peaks: Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough, and Whernside.

Our traditional Yorkshire bar has a cosy charm; warm and welcoming in winter, cool and inviting in summer. Pull up a chair by the open fire, or enjoy the sunshine in our large beer garden.
We serve a great selection of cask ales alongside other guest beers, wines, spirits, and malt whiskies. Our kitchen serves classic, home-cooked dishes made from quality ingredients… proper food, done well.
